How To Create A Virtual Facebook Live Event With Video (And Charge For It!)

- With stay at home orders following the coronavirus pandemic, Virtual events are increasing in popularity. Many professionals have been tasked with the job of moving traditional events into a virtual experience that still drive revenue.
- Thanks to Facebook (or shall we say Facebook stealing the idea from rising streaming vendors such as Zoom and StreamYard) Virtual Facebook Events are now a thing, AND you can even charge an entry fee!
- While creating a Facebook Event, hosts will now be able to mark Facebook Events as online only and integrate Facebook Live so you can broadcast to the guests.
Note, there are limits to how many profiles or pages can be seen in the live video event. Click here to learn more.
- To support creators and small businesses, Facebook plans to add the ability for Pages to charge for access to events with Live videos on Facebook – anything from online performances to classes to professional conferences.
Additionally, you can now add the donate button to live videos wherever nonprofit fundraisers are.
